Agriculture and Natural Resources (ANR) Week returns to the campus of Michigan State University (MSU) March 5-12.
Farmers will find several programs during the weeklong event offering beneficial learning opportunities, such as sessions on types and uses of capital, native plants and organic farming. They can also attend the Michigan Farmers Market Conference.
Conferences during ANR Week will provide valuable updates on topics such as the need for rapidly growing farmers’ markets to provide educational and advocacy programs that protect and grow these venues. Other conferences will feature researchers, industry representatives and farmers discussing topics such as hay and haylage production, grazing management, use of cover crops as forage, corn silage production and many more.
For 101 years, the MSU College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, MSU Extension and MSU AgBioResearch have welcomed visitors to ANR Week. This year’s event, March 5-12, offers more than 50 programs and annual association meetings on and near the East Lansing campus. ANR Week is the largest event of its kind in the nation.
