The College of Agriculture and Natural Resources graduation ceremony is slated for 7:30 p.m., Saturday, May 4 at the Breslin Center. Keep our nearly 450 undergraduate and 150 graduate students in your thoughts as they complete their MSU journey as students and begin again as alumni.

You will see that our undergraduate student groups from across our college have had astounding successes at competitions around the country. It never ceases to amaze me that CANR students manage to take on club activities and competitions while managing to succeed in their coursework too.

If you haven’t seen it yet, our Forestry Club hosted its Midwest Conclave and added a Lumberjack Competition sponsored by STIHL. The program aired on ESPN-U and the Outdoor Channel. It was great fun and a good opportunity to spotlight our Forestry program.

Please plan to join us for our annual Golfing for Scholarships outing sponsored by the CANR Alumni Association. It’s always a fun day and a wonderful way to help support our students. Also, plan to be with us for AutumnFest this year. The annual event is scheduled for the Michigan vs. Michigan State game, so be sure to get your tickets early.
