Summer 2022 was a busy one, with faculty, staff and students working hard to make the most of field season. Here's are some of the highlights: 

• The MSU Pollinator Initiative sponsored the 5th Annual Honey Bee Veterinary Consortium Conference
• Julianna Wilson was Appointed the Tree Fruit Entomologist for the department.
• Congratulations to the 21/22 Department Award Winners!!
• Julianna Wilson and Rufus Isaacs recently released Samba Wasps to help combat the Spotted Wing Drosophila.
• Peter White and Collaborator David Stroupe launched "Moth Camp" this summer for K-6 science teachers.
• Eric Benbow and his research are featured in the upcoming documentary "Pandemics: The New Challenge".

We are also proud to announce that Dave Smitley was recognized by the Golf Association of Michigan for his service to the Turf Grass Team. Congratulations Dave and Happy Retirement!
