Noel Bielaczyc
Noel joined CRFS in 2014 and his work has evolved over time. He leads several projects related to regional food distribution including coordination of the Michigan Food Hub Network, and the National Food Hub Survey, a longitudinal research project looking at food hubs’ operations, business growth, financial viability, and social mission. Noel also serves on the Michigan Farm to Institution Management Team where he leads work to support local, inclusive food procurement in hospitals and health systems. He received a master’s in Gastronomy with an emphasis in food policy from Boston University. Noel has over 10 years’ experience in the meat and seafood industry and fresh foods retail sector. He and his family live and farm in Leelanau County.
