While ANR Week celebrates its 100th year, the Quiet Water Symposium will celebrate 20 years of educating outdoor enthusiasts. The annual Quiet Water Symposium program will feature presentations on outdoor activities such as paddle sports, cycling, fishing, hiking and camping. Noted authors and outdoor experts such as Canada’s “Happy Camper” Kevin Callan, Cliff Jacobson, and Michigan’s own Jim DuFresne and Doc Fletcher will entertain and inform.

Attendees can view more than 200 interactive exhibits staffed by knowledgeable experts on topics such as wooden boat building, camp cooking, cycling, kayaking, sailing and protecting our environment. Vendors and outfitters will be available to help those just starting out to choose the right gear, adventure location or classes.

Last year nearly 2,500 of your friends and neighbors attended the Quiet Water Symposium. Join them this year and start your outdoor adventures out on the right foot.

The Quiet Water Symposium is sure to capture the hearts of many adventurists. Come visit the symposium on March 7 at the MSU Pavilion for Agriculture and Livestock Education, from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. For program information, visit http://www.quietwatersymposium.org/index.html.
