MSU food science doctoral student wins award

Nana Baah Pepra-Ameyaw, a BHEARD food science PhD student, has won second place for his 3MT presentation at the Sorghum in the 21st Century Conference in Cape Town, South Africa.

Nana Baah Pepra-Ameyaw, a BHEARD food science PhD student, has won second place for his 3MT presentation at the Sorghum in the 21st Century Conference in Cape Town, South Africa.  The 3MT Competition was founded by The University of Queensland of Australia.   Details about this competition can be found at this link: https://threeminutethesis.uq.edu.au/.  

Fourteen Ph.D. students participated in this event, coming from Africa, Europe and North America.  Nana was given three minutes to explain his Ph.D. work in layperson's terms (one of the judging criteria) with only one slide allowable as a visual aid.
