CANR and CANRAA award nominations sought

Nominations for the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources Distinguished Service Award (DSA) and the five awards sponsored by the MSU College of Agriculture and Natural Resources Alumni Association (CANRAA) are being sought now.

Nominations for the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources Distinguished Service Award (DSA) and the five awards sponsored by the MSU College of Agriculture and Natural Resources Alumni Association (CANRAA) are being sought now. 

Each year, during Agriculture and Natural Resources Week in March, the College recognizes up to three individuals (do not need to be alumni) who have made outstanding contributions to Michigan agriculture and natural resources industries and who have demonstrated continued commitment to MSU and the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. 

In addition, the CANR Alumni Association presents awards to an Outstanding Alumnus, an Honorary Alumnus, a Distinguished Faculty member, an Alumni Service Award and an Outstanding Young Alumnus Award.  This year's presentation will be made during the ANR Week Luncheon Tuesday, March 4, 2014.

Candidates may be nominated by Departments, Administrators, CANR alumni board members, faculty, alumni and industry stakeholders.  Please feel free to share these packets with faculty members in your department and your stakeholders to encourage them to nominate outstanding candidates for these awards.  If you need additional forms, they may be downloaded at http://anrweek.canr.msu.edu/anrweek/distinguished_service_award.

To be considered for the 2014 presentation, award nominations are due by Friday, Dec. 20, 2013.
